How do I place an order?

Certainly for those customers residing in the UK, ordering from Cruise Gift Store is easy! Just choose your items and quantities and pay for your shopping with Paypal.
Alternatively you can pay by cheque by printing out and using this form:

Please remember that cheques may take up to ten days for clearance and we cannot despatch goods unless funds have been cleared.


International Orders ~ Will you ship an order overseas?

Although our website is suited to collect orders within the UK we are nevertheless always happy to deal with international customers. At this time, however, our shopping cart is not set up to take the order direct.

If you are living outside of the United Kingdom, please send us an email providing details of your proposed order. In turn we will email you back with details of the total cost (inc. P&P which will be dependent on the size and weight of parcel).

Customers - having had the opportunity to digest the information provided and wishing to proceed with an order - will then be sent a money request via Paypal in order to settle the account.

Countdown Clocks

A facility is now available for customers from the USA to have their countdown clocks sent from a source closer to home. Contact us direct for further information.

NB: Very occasionally we have found that some replies to queries from our international customers have been filtered in error to their junk mail folders. What are your opening hours?

We open most days about 7 or 8ish. Occasionally it's as early as 6 am and sometimes as late as noon... or even 1 pm.

We close about 5.30 or 6 pm. Sometimes it's 4.30 or 5 and it can be as late as midnight... or even later.

On some days we are not here at all, but lately we've been here a lot, except when we've not been here!

In truth it's more hours than we care to think about!

How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to try and despatch orders placed (Monday-Friday) within 2 working days via Royal Mail (1st Class) or next working day by Courier.

Office Closures

When we are closed for holidays, a message will be displayed on both the cart and checkout pages. If you order during this holiday period then we will be unable to deal with your order until we return.

Please allow a couple of extra days delivery time for orders to Scottish Highlands & Islands or Northern Ireland. Please note we cannot deliver orders to PO Box addresses.

What are your delivery charges?

UK orders (based on the value of your order) using 1st class Royal Mail should usually arrive within 2-3 working days of your order being placed.

Please note that these services are only available to orders delivered to mainland UK addresses and are unfortunately not available to customers with the following postcode prefixes: JE, GY, ZE, BT, IM, KW, IV and HS.

Delivery charges for International Orders are based on the size and weight of the parcel. Where possible we will endeavour to offer you a number of different shipping options for the items you are interested in.

I've changed my mind; it's broken... can I have a refund?

This is all part of our total customer service. We always hope that you will be delighted with your purchases, but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. Please note that returns are not able to be accepted in person at our Head Office address.

If you purchase something from us, it arrives and you just don’t like it, you can return it to us unused and in its original condition within 7 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund (unless it is designated a *Special Order). You are, however, required to return the goods and have a responsibility to take care of those goods whilst in your control. Goods are returned at your own cost (unless goods are faulty or were sent in error). The delivery charge on the original order is non-refundable. You will be responsible for any carriage or legal costs we incur in retrieving the item(s) should you not return them.

*Special Order goods cannot be cancelled and the right to return within 7 days is forfeited in relation to Special Orders. A Special Order will be identified as such on your invoice.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty or we have sent you the wrong item in error, we will replace them or refund in full (including the original postage charge). You must notify us of any damage or error within 7 days of receipt.

To Return an Item

If you would like to make a return please e-mail us at info@cruisegiftstore.co.uk or call our Customer Service team on 01708 702022 within 7 days of receipt of your order telling us what you would like to return.

As long as items returned are
suitable for re-sale, in their original condition and sealed in their original packaging, we will be happy to refund (this may take up to 14 days). Refunds will only be made via the original payment method (Paypal or cheque). Unless the returned item is faulty, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item as well as ensuring that it reaches us. In the UK please use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, so that you can track the item being sent. Outside the UK please use your local postal service's tracked delivery option. Make sure you include your name and address on the back of the parcel and ensure that the item is suitably packaged for postage as we cannot make a full refund if the item is not suitable for re-sale.

The Cruise Gift Store welcomes all feedback about its services and products. Obviously in the event you feel the need to complain we would aim to deal with any problems or difficulties experienced by our customers both quickly and fairly.

We have a simple but comprehensive returns and refunds policy which means that most queries can be resolved quickly and easily over the phone. For issues that cannot be resolved immediately we will respond within 24 hours either resolving your complaint or with an expected timescale for resolution of the issue.
