How do I place an order?
Online
ordering is available 24/7 and for those customers living
in the United Kingdom, shopping at Cruise Gift Store couldn't
be easier. Just choose your items and quantities and pay
for your gifts using your credit or debit card with PayPal.
Signing
up for a PayPal account is now optional and you are no longer
required to set up an account (if you don't
already have one that is) when making
a purchase. This means that customers are able to complete
their payment first, and only then make a decision about
whether to save their information in a PayPal account for
future purchases.
Alternatively
you can pay by cheque by printing out and using our order
form. Please remember that cheques may take up to 10 days
for clearance and we normally don't despatch goods unless
funds have cleared.

What
are your standard delivery charges?
UK
orders sent via our Standard Delivery Service should usually
arrive within 2-4 working days of your order being placed.
We will use the most appropriate method of dispatch depending
on the weight and value of your order. Occasionally this
may include Royal Mail (Recorded) or our Courier
Service which would require a signature on delivery.

we will endeavour to offer you a number of different shipping

How long will my order take to arrive (Royal Mail Standard
Delivery)?
We aim
to despatch orders within 48 hours of receipt by us via
Royal Mail (1st Class) so would normally arrive
within 2-4 working days of your order being placed. However,
allowances should be made for busy periods eg Christmas.
Office
Closures
When
we are closed for holidays, a message will be displayed
on both the cart and checkout pages. If you order
during this holiday period then we will be unable
to deal with your order until we return.

Please
allow a couple of extra days delivery time for orders to Scottish
Highlands & Islands or Northern Ireland. Please note we
cannot deliver orders to PO Box addresses.

International Orders ~ Will you ship an order overseas?
Although our website is suited to collect
orders within the UK we are nevertheless always happy to
deal with international customers. At this time, however,
our shopping cart is not set up to take the order direct.
If you are living outside of the United
Kingdom, please send us an email
providing details of your proposed order. In turn we will
email you back with details of the total cost (inc. P&P
which will be dependent on the size and weight of parcel).
Customers - having had the opportunity
to digest the information provided and wishing to proceed
with an order - will then be sent a money request via Paypal
in order to settle the account.
You will be responsible for the payment
of any local import duties on receipt of your parcel.
Countdown Clocks
A
facility is now available for customers from the
USA to have their countdown
clocks sent from a source closer to home.

UK Lost/Delayed/Not Called for Packages:
A lost parcel or delayed parcel is extremely frustrating
for both you and us. We genuinely understand how annoying
it is for you and we feel pretty helpless too. In the
event an item is delayed or lost within the UK we would
like to point out we/Royal Mail will not be able to take
any action until 15 business days (business days being
Monday to Friday) have elapsed. If, after that period,
you still haven't got your order we would ask you to confirm,
by
email, that you have not received your
item as this will form evidence to Royal Mail for a lost
package. When we receive an email we will issue a refund
or replacement as per your preference.
Please note, Royal Mail will write to you asking if you
have received a parcel from us - if you don’t respond
to their letter within 7 days, they will consider the
parcel as delivered and will simply close our claim -
meaning we won’t get a penny back.
Royal Mail apply different rules for International packages
which are delayed or lost in transit. Please see Mail
Sent Abroad for further information.
For orders that are returned to our premises by the Royal
Mail marked 'not called for' (or similar) customers
will need to pay the postage again (at cost)
if they want their gifts re-delivered. Alternatively we
can issue a refund for the cost of the goods themselves,
less P&P.
What are your Customer Service opening hours?
If you need to speak to someone, we are
open Monday to Friday from about 8 am (sometimes earlier)
and close at around 7 pm (although, again, it is
often later than this).
Similarly, there may well be someone available
at the weekend, so it's alway worth trying then too!
In truth it's more hours than we
care to think about!

I've changed my mind; it's broken... can I have a refund?
This
is all part of our total customer service. We always hope
that you will be delighted with your purchases, but there
may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an
item. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. Please
note that returns are not able to be accepted in person
at our Head Office address.
If
you purchase something from us, it arrives and you just
don’t like it, you can return it to us unused and
in its original condition within 7 days for a prompt replacement,
exchange or refund (unless it is designated a *Special
Order). You are, however, required to return
the goods and have a responsibility to take care of those
goods whilst in your control. You will be responsible for
any carriage or legal costs we incur in retrieving the item(s)
should you not return them.
*Special Order goods cannot be cancelled
and the right to return within 7 days is forfeited in relation
to Special Orders. A Special Order will
be identified as such on your invoice.
If
an item arrives damaged or faulty or we have sent you the
wrong item in error, we will replace it or refund in full.
You must notify us of any damage or error within 7 days
of receipt.

would like to return.
As long as items returned are suitable
for re-sale, in
their original condition and sealed in their original packaging,
we will be happy to refund (this may take up to 14 days).
Refunds will only be made via the original payment method
(Paypal or cheque). Unless the returned item is faulty,
you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item
as well as ensuring that it reaches us. In the UK please use
Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, so that you can track the item
being sent. Outside the UK please use your local postal service's
tracked delivery option. Make
sure you include your name and address on the back of the
parcel and ensure that the item is suitably
packaged for postage as we cannot make a full refund if the
item is not suitable for re-sale.

The
Cruise Gift Store welcomes all feedback about its services
and products. Obviously in the event you feel the need to
complain we would aim to deal with any problems or difficulties
experienced by our customers both quickly and fairly.
