Opting for a courier delivery?

For customers living on the UK Mainland (Zones A and B) you will now find an option in your 'shopping basket' to select a courier delivery as an alternative to 1st Class Royal Mail.

  • Orders placed Monday to Thursday will normally be delivered within 2 working days.
  • Orders placed on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday will normally be delivered by the following Tuesday.
  • Unfortunately we can not deliver on a Bank Holiday. In this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day.
  • Our couriers will normally deliver your parcel between 8am and 5.30pm, but occasionally may deliver later; unfortunately we cannot give you a more specific delivery time than this.
  • A signature may be required on receipt.
  • You may specify a delivery address which is different from your billing address, if, for example, you would like us to deliver the products directly to a friend, a relative, or to your place of work.

Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email to confirm despatch from our warehouse.

What areas are covered by your courier service?

At this time only the UK mainland (Zones A and B) are covered by our courier service. Please refer to the map above for further clarification.

As a rule of thumb, if you live in one of the following regions and want a courier delivery, please contact us as we will have to calculate your postage manually and cannot take your order on our website.

Alternatively, to shop online, select the Royal Mail 1st Class option for delivery.

UK Exclusions:

  • Box Numbers whether Post Office or British Forces Post Office.

Similarly, if you are an international customer, please send us an email providing details of your proposed order. In turn we will email you back with details of the total cost (inc. P&P which will be dependent on the size and weight of parcel).

What happens if I'm out when the courier tries to deliver?

Please make every effort to be at home when your goods are delivered ~ unless you have selected one of the options where your order will be left without a signature being taken.

If you receive a card through your door to say the driver has tried to deliver your parcel for the first time, our couriers will automatically attempt to redeliver your items the following working day (Monday to Friday).

If you are not at home when they attempt to deliver for the second time, they will leave you another card, again with redelivery/collection details. See 'Failed Deliveries'

If you wish to collect your item(s) from a UKMail depot, there is a telephone number on the card for you to call to make the necessary arrangements. Please call the number provided before attempting to collect, as time restrictions may apply.

When collecting a parcel, proof of identity such as a driving licence or passport will be required. If someone else is collecting on your behalf, appropriate authorization will be needed.

Please note that your order will be returned to Cruise Gift Store after 5 working days from the due date of delivery if further delivery instructions are not received.

Can I ask for my goods to be left without a signature (no signature)?

Yes. When you checkout, you will have the opportunity to select from a number of alternative 'no signature' delivery options.

Please be aware that if you choose a location where a signature cannot be taken e.g. in a porch, garage, shed, conservatory etc., all items will be left entirely at your own risk, and neither Cruise Gift Store or the courier can take any responsibility whatsoever for these items once left. Cruise Gift Store and the courier cannot accept any liability for theft of goods.

Failed Deliveries

Our courier company will deliver from 08:00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. The courier will, however, leave a card with the depot's number for you to arrange a redelivery.

If you do not call the courier, they will automatically try to deliver again the next day. Unless further instructions are received from you within 5 days, your parcel will be returned to us as undeliverable.

If you are not at home when they attempt to deliver for a third time, the goods will be returned to us, and the courier will make an additional charge (which will be payable by you) before any further attempts are made to deliver the goods to you.

To avoid that happening we advise you to:

  • Use a delivery address where there will be someone during the day.
  • Leave a special delivery instruction during checkout e.g. provide details of a neighbour who will take it in on your behalf.

We reserve the right to recharge for delivery at cost or in the event you wish to have a refund, to refund you less the actual amount paid by us for carriage.

My order has not arrived?

Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within the timeframe specified, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. Please allow three working days before contacting us when we will happily investigate and track the order with our carrier and get back to you by return.
